NATIONAL PORTS ADMINISTRATION (ANP)
A decentralized agency linked to the Executive Branch through the Ministry of Transport and Public Works. It is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and development of the public ports: Montevideo, Nueva Palmira, Colonia, Juan Lacaze, Fray Bentos, Paysandú, and Salto.

MINISTRY OF ECONOMY AND FINANCE (MEF)
Its function is to improve and strengthen Uruguay's treasury through competent bodies, such as the DGI (General Tax Directorate), which is responsible for taxes, and the DNA (National Customs Directorate), which exercises its functions in accordance with the legal framework established by the provisions of the Uruguayan Customs Code, among others. The Ministry is responsible for accounting for the country's profits from imports and exports. It is also responsible for requesting and repaying loans and managing the money spent by the various state departments, for which it submits the National Budget to Parliament.

ASSOCIATION OF CUSTOMS BROKERS OF URUGUAY (ADAU)
Maintains a constant stream of technical information, linked to a variety of sources from both the central government and agencies involved in foreign trade operations. It provides advice covering legal, accounting, and foreign trade matters, and permanently hires highly relevant professional firms for this purpose. These advisory services are completely free of charge for members.
